Before transitioning May 15th of this year, Daniel Tonge had returned to the canvas. Working primarily in pencils, charcoals, and most recently experimenting with watercolors, Tonge's work captured the animated and captivating expressions of his subjects. Models ranged from family and friends to unidentified characters on the internet.Â
Stop in during this year's Kwanzaa Crawl in Brooklyn to see these powerful portraits, enjoy complimentary drinks, and shop select items from The Culture LP.

Please note, all of the prints are on sale and proceeds will go to the Eagle Academy School for Young Men's art program, overseen by our friend, Ronald Draper.Â
